Police have renewed their request for the public’s help in identifying a person whose image was captured on a surveillance camera during a burglary in Hilo.

On May 22, someone broke into a building on the 100 block of Kamakahonu Street in Hilo and removed exercise equipment, electronic items and cash. Value of the stolen items was $872.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the person in the photo to call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Dean Uyetake at 961-2379 or dean.uyetake@hawaiicounty.gov.
